Interesting Facts: (updated July 18, 2011)
- I began operating my rattery in March of 2004, which was when I purchased my first two rats with intent to breed (I had about 14 non-breeding rats by that point). My first litter was born August 5, 2004.
- I have had 75 litters. Of those 75, 2 were rescue moms who were pregnant when they came here, and one was an 'oops' litter, where the female escaped and went to live with the boys.
- 546 rats have been born here, not including those who didn't live past the first few days :(
- That is an average litter size of 7.28 kittens. The largest litter born here was 18, and all survived.
- I produce 51% males and 49% female rats. Not in every litter, but as an average from over 500 babies.
- 64% of my litters are less than 10 kittens.
